York Open - Saturday 11th September 2010

On a cold, wet start to the day, 3 members of the Scunthorpe hammer squad attended the York open meeting.  The athletes were competing against a high quality field of 30 athletes in the hammer competition, ranging from U15 boys to Seniors.

Anne Gilbert, throwing with Senior Ladies, threw 22.5M which was a PB.   The rest of the day saw all three ladies winning medals and they managed to get four between them - 2 gold and 2 bronze.
